Nostalgia is “an affectionate feeling you have for the past, especially for a particularly happy time or experience” – Collins Dictionary.
This is inevitably how one feels after returning home from an African Safari. NOSTALGIC AFRICA IMAGERY provides an opportunity to immortalize this experience by offering high quality canvas prints and digital downloads using imagery captured by the nature guides who share their everyday lives with their subjects.
The founders of this platform, Greg and Kelly Coates, spent over five years working at lodges in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in South Africa which is well known as one of Africa’s finest photographic safari destinations. Their vision for this platform is to not only provide lasting memories for buyers, but also to assist promising wildlife photographers to gain exposure, and to support selected wildlife conservation initiatives. Our community of photographers are passionate about wildlife and its conservation and therefore voluntarily pledge a portion of their earnings from this platform to Saving the Survivors which is dedicated to helping rhinos that have survived the horrors of poaching. Buyers also have the opportunity to join our support for this worthy cause by adding an optional donation to their basket when purchasing one of our quality products. We are also very proud to be associated with the below organisations who are active in the conservation and photo-tourism industry.
